As the new year begins, Offshoot is ready to usher in January with the first coffehouse of the new year! Now held in the LaFayette Center at the old Fayette County High School, this most recent coffehouse features some of our favorite preformers.
The current lineup for our January 13th coffeehouse includes the rambunctious Barney's Goat, regular faces at the coffeehouse, always ready to entertain with a lilting folk song of Ireland, Scotland, England, or Wales. Also featured is the acoustic songs of Bill Kahler. Combined with the our fine selection of gourmet coffees and homemade treats, these performances are sure to warm even the very coldest winter night.
The coffee house venue, LaFayette Educational Center, is located at the old Fayette High School on LaFayette Avenue in downtown Fayetteville. LaFayette Avenue can be reached off of Highway 85 through downtown Fayetteville before the Courthouse intersection, or, for those coming from Peachtree City, off of Highway 54 just before the Highway 85 intersection. The access street is just past the large 'Welcome to Fayetteville' sign.
Admission is still an incredibly low \$5 ($4 for seniors and children under 12). Remember to bring your own mug from home to receive discounts on hot beverages and to participate in the "Most Unusual Mug" competition. The doors open at 7:45 p.m., and the entertainment begins at 8:15. As always, reservations are accepted for Offshoot members and for parties of four or more with payment in advance.
